Early Access Firmware 1.3.0 for Deco BE63/BE65/BE11000 V2/2.6 Adds DoH/DoT, Speed Limit, Internet Backup & More!
Hey Everyone!
We are excited to announce a pre-release firmware update for Deco BE65 V2.0, Deco BE63 V2.6, and BE11000 V2.6. This pre-release firmware introduces several new and advanced features, including DoH & DoT, Speed Limit, Internet Backup, and more! We encourage community members with these models to install this firmware and share your feedback.

Firmware Modifications
New Features/Enhancements:
- Added Support for Designating a Fixed WAN Port.
- Added Hybrid Mesh Feature.
- Added Internet Backup Feature.
- Added DoH & DoT Feature.
- Added Speed Limit Feature for Client Devices.
- Optimized HomeShield Feature.
- Improved System Stability.
Bug Fixes:
- Fixed the behavior where the Online List doesn't show IP addresses of connected clients when Deco is in AP mode.
- Resolved the behavior where QoS Total Bandwidth doesn't take effect as expected under certain circumstances.
- Addressed the phenomenon where the Deco may restart automatically under certain circumstances.

Note:
- Please ensure your Deco app is fully up-to-date.
- This firmware cannot be downgraded directly to the previous 1.2.10/1.2.0 version.
- There will be an official firmware release in the future. If you are not comfortable using pre-release firmware, please wait for the official release or contact our support teams for assistance.
- Pre-release and Beta firmware should be used at your own discretion. We cannot guarantee the functionality of features or technical support for Pre-Release or Beta Firmware.

Hi,
On the DoH & DoT page, please try adding dns.google and one.one.one.one to the DNS Server, then check if you have internet when connecting to Deco.
Btw, where did you get the DNS server 14pkrekuuze.dns.controld.com?

I would like to get this looked at for you when you can please follow the directions below to submit a ticket with support.
First please access the Deco web UI by entering "tplinkdeco.net" in your browser. Navigate to Advanced > System > System Log, select "ALL" in the log type, and save the file to your local computer. Then follow the steps below making sure to attach the logs to the email.
I recommend sending an email to forumsupport.usa@tp-link.com with the following information:

Hi everyone,
I'm closely following the beta firmware developments for the Deco BE65 V2. While the new features look amazing, I'm currently holding off on the beta as I rely on a 100% stable system.
My Setup:
• ISP/Gateway: FRITZ!Box 6690 Cable (Exposed Host mode)
• Mesh: 3x Deco BE65 V2
• Firmware Vision 1.2.0 Build 20250718 Rel. 43949
• Clients: 60+ Wi-Fi devices
• Smart Home: Home Assistant with 32 Zigbee devices
Current Situation:
Like many others, I’m affected by the Cloudflare certificate issues on the FRITZ!Box side. I’ve currently bypassed this by switching to AdGuard DNS, but I’m eagerly waiting for the official release of the new firmware to implement DNS over TLS (DoT) directly on my Decos.
This would finally make my DNS resolution independent of the ISP router's certificate handling.
Since my Home Assistant setup is mission-critical for my house, I can't risk beta-related issues like NAT loopback bugs.
Does anyone have a reliable ETA on when the official, final version of the 1.3.x/1.4.x firmware will be pushed to the stable channel?

We do not have the information on when the new official firmware will be released to the Deco BE65 V2. It's recommended to pay attention to the update notice in the Deco app or the new firmware info on our official website. Usually, when a new firmware is available for your Deco, you can find it in the Deco app or on our official website.
