Firmware Version: 1.0.7 Build 20251027 rel.50074(5553)

When using the tether app. it is reporting excessive use. As in 10tb yesterday alone.

 

According to it my ring doorbell which has a 2.4ghz connection uploaded 9.8Tb yesterday.  its not mathematically possible for a 2.4 ghz connection to move that much data in 24hrs.

I see for other TP link routers there is a firmware fix for this issue.

Is there a fix for this router?

I have noticed this happening for over a week. Sometimes it still says Items I removed from the network (disconnected from power) that it reports as using data.

It is frustrating to say the least.
I like the router otherwise. 
Except for the fact I cant track my data usage.

  @Joseph-TP , I can also report a similar issue with the Archer BE900 v2.0 router as well.  Anything newer than the last 1.3.1 firmware that may address this?

Have you recently updated to 1.3.1 Build 20260208? Did "excessive data usage" start after version 1.3.1?
