I answered your other post but just so your aware if you try this and have issues that make your network unusable you can revert back to your current firmware using the Firmware recovery process. I have posted the instructions below so you know what you will be getting into if you have to use it.

Firmware Recovery Process

Thanks.

Need help with the Deco app, setup, Ethernet backhaul, network switch or rolling back firmware? Router or AP mode? https://community.tp-link.com/us/home/forum/topic/699816?page=1

Well that's an issue LOL. Unless you have a different way to report it please open up a ticket using the directions below.

Yes I do have another way, I was sent email to test this f/w with a link to it. I did send back that problem and the fact the title was 'BE6', not BE68, which was fixed.

Just got another email over this this morning, I'll respond back with the wrong link to that.

What are you calling 'stability issues'?

I've got one of two iWatches drop off randomly. Comes back on a few minutes later. I did have that before the new F/W, but it was less often.

I'm not sure but I 'think' some web pages are loading slower too?

Does the new firmware also support DoQ?

Hi,
The Hybrid Mesh Backup is in the Internet Backup page, not the WAN Port page. The following instructions may be helpful.
How to set up Hybrid Mesh Backup on TP-Link Deco

You can refer to the instructions below to troubleshoot the unstable issue on the Deco.
Fix unstable connection when connected to the Deco network

Best Regards

  @Atomic78 Hi, the pre-release firmware (v1.3.0 Build 20260508-rel18114 ) doesn't support DoQ.

OK, and I got email from 'support' to scroll down too, and I do see it.

Suggest that LINK has the TITLE changed to INCLUDE the Hybrid Mesh Backup as well.

I've had more today.

  • Our Keurig Coffee pot must have gone off-line (it reads the capsule QR code, contacts Keurig Server, get the proper brew setting and then tells us the name of the capsule and and we can select the size we want).
  • It worked the day before 'eradically', we had to open and close the top a few times.
  • Wife on her iPad was getting a trouble message in 2 games.
  • My Amazon Show 10 all of a sudden would listen to me but not respond?
  • On my  PC, clicking on desktop icon, ones that were URL's that open in the browser or programs that check the license before opening.... causing me to click more than once. I'd either get a few of the same tabs in the browse or more than one copy of the program running.
  • My Apple 10 iWatch thinks it is connected to the Deco, but the Deco App shows it off-line?

So I decided to power off the modem and Deco, thinking maybe when the new F/W installed it didn't correctly connect to the modem. Brought up the modem, and then the Deco.

Checked all the devices, like tested the Amazon Echo and Echo Show and both worked now?

Even my iWatch connected?

I am getting some devices, like our iWatches diconnecting and reconnecting. Same for my RainBird Sprinkler controller for the most part, but these were also problems before/

So try tuning off the modem and router, power up the modem and when fully up, the router. See if that helps?
