Model: Deco X4300 Pro
Hardware Version: V1
Firmware Version: 1.5.0

Somehow, I have a newer version of firmware than what is available to download on the website.

I recently had the 1G Ethernet ports of my main node stop passing traffic. The 2.5G port used for WAN was still working and wifi devices across the network were working yet the 2 1G ports quit. I tried different network adapters and even booted another OS on my PC until I discovered it was an issue on the router itself. I powercycled the node, and it appears it may be working now, but I went looking at the support website and saw the most recent firmware was 1.2.2 for v1 and only 1.4.0 for v1.60, yet somehow my devices are 1.5.0.

Perhaps the flaking Ethernet ports are why my backhaul keeps dropping to using Wifi.

I've only ever performed an upgrade through the app.

Hi,
Your Deco XE4300 Pro is using the latest firmware version. The firmware version on the website(https://www.tp-link.com/us/support/download/deco-x4300-pro/#Firmware) is not up to date. I have forwarded this case to the relevant team to update the firmware on the website.

Thank you very much for your feedback!
Best Regards
