Update the Beta firmware and add the latest Beta firmware for ER605 v2/ v2.6, which have added the fix that Omada Router may wrongly report the clients status to the Omada Controller, causing the issue that offline clients were still shown up in the Controller Clients list, and connected to the Omada Router (instead of the SSID or network). (1) simply clicking Save on the Edit Network page will bring the DHCP server to work for a few hours.
(2) reboot doesn't help, the issue doesn't exist with the router firmware 1.1.1.
- Some clients are assigned the same IP address, causing they cannot access the internet.

I use a lot of vlan, I also have omada switches and access points of various kinds, but it is clearly a problem, there is no doubt about it, there have been fixes for this a few times, so I hope that they find a final solution to this soon.
but what triggers this problem would be interesting to know :-)

@NTWRK You mentioned that your router passed the Shields Up test, which tests IPv4. If you're using IPv6, would you consider running a similar test for IPv6? The forum won't let me post the link, so you can Google: Online IPv6 Port Scanner and Firewall Tester. (Welcome to IPscan, an open source IPv6 port scanner, or firewall tester, which checks multiple, user-selectable TCP, UDP and ICMPv6 services.)
The DHCP problems are bad, but so is leaving IPv6 access open, which has been the case for months. We had been promised the addition of IPv6 firewall features in December.
Please let us know. Thank you.

@Gary_E - I ran the Online IPv6 Port Scanner and Firewall Tester and, unlike with ShieldsUP, it did not pass. A few ports were green (STLTH) but most of them were yellow (RFSD): A refused indication (TCP RST/ACK or ICMPv6 type 1 code 4) was received when attempting to open this port. Someone can ascertain that your machine, or another device in the path, is responding on this IPv6 address/port combination, but cannot establish a direct connection.
Thank you...I have disabled IPv6 on my network as it does not appear, at least in this newer ER605 v1 1.2.2 beta build (20230118), that the IPv6 firewall is present.

@NTWRK what is the 1.2.2 beta link? I tried various URLs based on that date and the usual pattern but couldn't find the right one.

I just tried to OC200 remotely update a TL-R605 v1.0 currently on 1.2.1 Build 20220512 Rel.76748 to ER605(UN)_v1_1.2.2_Build 20230118 (Beta)
I received firmware file invalid message and the router has been offline since :(
Oddly, the two APs connected to this router are still online.
Maybe just the management access to the ER605 has been lost?

I have downloaded and upgraded my ER7206 to the beta firmware. RIght after that I have ran the AI Optimisation, since that triggered the problem last time, unfortunately, i still had the issue. My devices didn't get IP address until I went to the Network section and click "Save" button without changing anything.
I will do further testing but seems like the problem persists.
