@Kevin_Z when do you plan to release easymesh to AX73 and AX53?

@Kevin_Z Am I able to setup mesh network using Archer AX55 (Easymesh compatible) with an Archer AX72 (Onemesh compatible) with ethernet backhaul?

@Kevin_Z The EasyMesh Product List used to include Archer C6 v3 as planned for EasyMesh Support but it no longer does. I urge your engineers to reconsider supporting the Archer C6 v3, since the v4 already supports it, it shouldn't be too difficult to backport it to v3 as well. I'd rather not have to throw away a perfectly good router just because it's missing such an integral feature due to a technicality...

@pugalj  Nope. You can only build up an Ethernet Backhaul when both the main and the satellite devices get the support of EasyMesh Ethernet Backhaul.

Please wait and pay close attention to the firmware updates on your router web GUI.

Can you advise, how soon the firmware update for AX72 will be released?

@Kevin_Z Thanks for taking care of the community :)

Can you please confirm that this is the current list of devices + fw versions that support a EasyMesh Network with Ethernet Backhaul?

Archer C80_V1&V2.2_1.12.1 Build 221212

Archer A8_V1&V2.2_1.12.1 Build 221212

Archer C64_V1_1.12.1 Build 221212

Archer A64_V1_1.12.1 Build 221212

Archer C86_V1_1.12.1 Build 221212

Archer C6_V4_1.12.1 Build 221212

Archer A6_V4_1.12.1 Build 221212

If so, it seems that currently the C80 has the best HW that supports this feature?

However, I think that any of the devices from the AX series would be a preferred option for many in terms of price/quality/service.
I know it's hard to commit to an ETA, but could you please let me know, if the engineering team is working on new FW that will support Ethernet Backhaul for any of the AX devices? If so, I guess it is better to wait a while and get a future-proof device :)

Thank you!

I second this request, it would be useful to have an update, Im running an AX20 V2. I see easymesh has been deployed to the AX20 V3 but no ethernet backhaul yet? Planned list says AX20 V2....

BT Full fibre 500, 1x X60 V3.2 in router mode and 1 x XE75Pro V2.

@pugalj No, I cannot give you an ETA when the firmware update for AX72 will be officially available.

As previously confirmed with the product team, the new EasyMesh firmware for AX72 is expected to be released in Q2 2023. You may wait and check the firmware updates on your router web GUI regularly to get the new firmware.

@g3n0 Definitely yes.

Yes, the engineering team is working on a new firmware that supports EasyMesh and EasyMesh Ethernet Backhaul for both AX devices and AC devices. Please pay close attention to the new firmware updates for your device.

@klipse Please also be aware that the EasyMesh firmware update for products marked "Planned" is not a guarantee. The device list will be updated regularly.

You may keep eye on your router web GUI or via the Tether App to know when or whether there is new firmware for your device.
