Recently we received feedback that the DHCP Server failed with 1.2.0 and 1.2.1 firmware, the issue may manifest as follows:
- DHCP Server won't provide dynamic IP addresses to end clients in some cases.
Related Post: DHCP Server Fails Every Few Hours
(1) simply clicking Save on the Edit Network page will bring the DHCP server to work for a few hours.
(2) reboot doesn't help, the issue doesn't exist with the router firmware 1.1.1.
- Some clients are assigned the same IP address, causing they cannot access the internet.
Related Post: Issues with DHCP, clients get same iP addresses
(1) rebooting the router will solve the issue for a while.
(2) the issue doesn't exist with the router firmware 1.1.1.
Note:
ER605 v2 doesn't have the two DHCP issue described above.
Thank you all @jdpk, @Karel-24, @PascalSBR for reporting the issue with detailed information, and your great cooperation with our support engineers to look into the issue is much appreciated!

I cannot risk upgrading the router to the 1015 beta again as it brought down most of my network and I could not re-establish connections on the devices until I downgraded the version back to the sept beta. Others have posted similar results while on 1015 earlier in this thread so I'm not alone.
Sorry for any trouble caused. I understand your point here. But our support engineers are unable to reproduce the issue in the lab at present, and the 1015 beta has been working steadily almost 1 month in our production environment, it's hard to check what's going on and figure out the issue you suffered with the 1015 beta right now.
We may need to wait for someone to reproduce the issue for us and try to fix it. On the other hand, the support engineers would like to have your network topology and device info in your current network for further testing. I've created a support ticket via your registered email address, the ticket ID is TKID221121347, if you're willing to help, please pay attentiont to this ticket email and respond to the support engineer. I can add a few more details which will hopeful help your technicians resolve the issue
- I installed the 1015beta in the morning (in the hopes of being able to create a switch ACL rules based on MAC ID's - new feature pending new firmware release) and all appeared to work w/o issue (not the MAC ID's based ACL rules... but the firmware itself )throughout the day
- I have a WLAN schedule setup to have the wifi radio shutdown on Monday - Thursday from 7:00pm - 9:30pm (As an FYI I opened another issue on this feature as well because it doesn't consistently work... It doesn't consistently turn off the radios per the set schedule ... yet another frustration) : https://community.tp-link.com/en/business/forum/topic/589070
- The WLAN schedule turned the radios off correctly on the day I upgraded the firmware but when the radios came back up at 9:30pm MOST devices failed to connect to the internet and some appeared to have arbitrary non sensical IP address. Forcing a reconnect of the devices did nothing to resolve the issue. Neither did rebooting the router, restarting the controller, rebooting the switch or rebooting all the EAPs) I had no choice but to downgrade the firmware.
- I have a number of devices (TPLINK IOT devices + game consoles) setup with static IP address using the dhcp reservation option (This feature BTW only 1st appeared to work as expected with the 0922 beta firmware (and was yet another feature that was introduced that didn't work as intended for me until a subsequent beta firmware was released.

I generally think, that this bug DEPENDING to hardware constellation you use.
Here the bug with:
OC200 , ER605 -> connecten to P1 on TL-SG3452, which is conntected with LAG static 4xDAC to TL-SG3452P , + 4xEAP245.
Bug1: LAG LACP dont work between TL-SG3452 and 3452P, so only static works
Bug2: During reboot with 1015 beta, ALL DHCP units are getting VLAN1 IP??
Nug3: Although they have FIXED IPs, they just stay on VLAN1 .
After Downgrade to 0902 beta, DHCP ist working, I can reboots without the issue of getting VLAN1 IP?!
But I stil cant connect 3452 and 3452P fpr LAG LACP. After creating it is working, but if I reboot one of the switches, network will be dead until I disconnect all LAG connected cabels.
But it is another bug , that should be solved by a firmwarefix, I think.
Best Wishes
Alex

The issue doesn't seem to be a DHCP issue discussed in this thread. As all DHCP units are able to get the IP addresses, the DHCP is working. For the issue that the DHCP doesn't work in the correct VLAN, did you try the same reboots after installing the 1015 Beta?
If you want to figure out the issues, it's recommended to Start a New Thread here to discuss further and get help from TP-Link experts and fellow customers alike. More detailed information including your network diagram and configurations would be helpful to get better assistance with your case, you may also check Tips For Efficiently Reporting an Issue (or Asking a Question) In The Community before you start the thread.

If I didn't get you wrong, the issue can be reproduced every day in your network and you're currently using the ER7206 1.2.3 firmware, right?
Our support engineer would like to check more details when the issue occurs to figure out the issue, are you willing to help?
