Couple more bugs, 

 

1. When trying to link a device to a family member via the device details page I sometimes get an error saying it failed.

 

2. Some devices in the device list do not show a network connection type e.g.  WiFi signal bars or ethernet connection. The same devices do not show which Deco they are connected to, even though they show in the online section of the client list.

 

 

 

The app logs have been submitted for these issues.

 

 

BTW, I completely deleted and recreated my home network over the weekend and the setup using the new app was flawless👍

  @BenGindersThanks a lot and When I tried to choose the family member, I tested 5 online devices and unfortunately I could not get the same errors. But it is quite inconvenient that I found there is no save button on this page. The log has been forwarded to the senior engineers for further evaltion and Thank you again.

  Hi @David-TP,

 

It may be because I have over 20 devices on that profile, however adding via selecting the Profile then selecting Devices then select the "+" icon works correctly every time.  Whereas the earlier method can take between 1 to 5 attemps.  

Sometimes I select the device and it automatically removes the selection on the earlier method also.

WOW! We've been begging to change the channel for years! 

You say it's more of a firmware issue, but yet it is never addressed in firmware.

When I reboot or use the Network Optimization feature of the Deco app, it says "your network status is perfect". 

It's not -- the Deco never changes channels and causes interference with my sound system, which is hard wired to a channel.

It should be seeing this interference and switching to a less congested channel, per your description of how the "smart" feature works.

It doesn't work. Please fix this.

Also switching off/on "Mesh Technology" and each device also takes upto 5 attempts to apply.

  Hi @David-TP,

 

On the "Address Reservation" screen when I click the "+" to add a new device I cannot scroll to the bottom of the list.

On the below screenshot I have scrolled all the way down the list but as you can see there is more device below the end of the list.

Hi, I think you are right and since there are less than 10 online devices on my side, I could not reproduce the feedback about Mesh and address reservation. They seemed to operate correctly. Somehow on the offline devices list, there are quite a few pages and I can move down to the bottom.

And I am afraid I might need to ask you to send me the APP log again.
