I have just registered here to ask a question.
I livei n Japan. I have a 2 story house with two dead spots. I'd prefer a wired backhaul. Four rooms already have ethernet wired. 
Can you confirm which Japanese routers have wired ethernet backhaul? 
 

I have already read through your guide to set up two or three routers wirelessly as mesh then attach a wire to their LAN port for backhaul. 
 

I'd need a USB 3.0 port for media, but I’m willing to get an NAS unit. 
I'd prefer 2-3 of the exact same models rather than anything with lesser speeds mixed and matched. 

Before I make a mistake when purchasing 2-3 units.  I will write up my info here.

I’m considering getting 2-3 of the following model. They are not this same as the USA AX3000 (Deco unit) but they share the same model number making research difficult.  These aren't ideal, but are a lower cost option. This model lacks a USB 3.0 port, but with the cost savings I could get an NAS.

(AX3000) JP now offers wired backhaul. 
As well as mesh in AP mode.

This AX80 V1 should support it but I am not sure if it's limited to non-Japanese models only. This is my preferred upgrade model. I'd consider two or three of these in total.

But I would like to confirm if wired backhaul is even offered on these Japanese models listed here.
This post from 2022 listed many models. 

The only JP model list here is the AX23 which isn't an ideal Main Router.

I am aware that newer BE550 model has USB3,0 and it offers wired backhaul.port. 
But those units are rather costly.

  @Sai2 I bought BE230 as main unit. And it has ability to work in AP mode as mesh controller. Because it is behind ISP router. And two AX53.

And yesterday I bought AX23 for my garden toys. Ethernet backhaul is a king. 

I have also AX17 but it is dead road because no ethernet backhaul.

BE230 has USB for 'NAS' like usage but I did not yet connect anything.

But I am in EU.

That's my story.

Thanks for the reply. I'm just getting use to the forum format. That’s good to hear the AX23 is getting use. I am not sure that your BE230 model is offered in Japan yet. I have looked over several BE models offered here and landed on the BE550 for its tri-band offering. I admit I don’t need the speed of Wifi 7 yet, just better range.

After a bit more research it seems they just updated the firmware of the wifi 6 AX3000 JP model to offer wired backhaul on November 29 2024. This simplifies my choice further and helps my budget too. 
I can either get 2 of these and an NAS. 

Or for a bit more two AX80 models that offer USB 3.0  and no need for an NAS unit yet.

Can you confirm if the BE550 V1 JP 

Japaese Version = BE9300

Offers the same wired backhaul
as well as mesh in AP model as the listed US model?

if not, PLEASE contact support to push this feature in the next JP firmware for it. 

Can you please add all the models

AC AX and BE for the Japanese market. To your pinned list 
The Japanese support note for firmware one by one often do not list this feature. 
And the Japanese site list cannot be sorting by any "filters" for clarity like the US site can. 

I’m happy to link this post and this info to my Reddit posts as well. 
TP link is growing as a brand here in Japan for Hikari fiber now; throughout Tokyo and perhaps nationwide.  A lot of users would buy these routers if they can confirm compatibility and features more clearly. 
You can get a much later market share just by adding as much details on individual product pages to your Japanese website; as you have for your US and UK sites.  
I’m sure this isn't your department but please pass this idea along too.

From my own research individually. 
The only JP three Japanese models that state wired backhaul in the firmware. 
AX23V JP

AX3000 JP 

and the new RE900XD unit

NONE of the following models which were all updated with firmware in 2024 have wired backhaul. 
Listed in overall popularity of the market here:

AXE5400 JP

AX5400 JP

AX110000 JP

AX80 JP

AX73 JP

AX72 JP

Understandable, as their focus is now on the new BE series. But I am surprised that the lower cost AX3000 JP and the AX23V both received the updated ability but not the high priced and more capable models with USB 3.0 support. 

it seems my options are limited for either a few AX3000 units. Or the newer B550 units.

Another waste of time from TP-link.

Wanted a router to use as a EasyMesh Satelitte that was white and unlike all the Arceher models, does not look like its been designed by a 5 year old out of lego, found the VX230v on the website listed as supporting Wired Backhaul.

ts not just the backhaul issue but that this device canot act as a satellite (agent) at all.

It's just poor from TP-Link. They have too many models that have confusing and mixed names (how many are called AX1800) and with this many models  they can never hope to support and advance the brand as there are just too many variations to manage.
