Hi,

I have a four camera setup at home with two C100 and two C310. I don't use Tapo Care. My issues is with downloading locally recorded clips.

On the C100 I am unable to download motion/person-detected recorded events. I can play and view them, but they are not available in the download section. If I manually record clips they are listed in the download section, but not if they are motion/person-detected clips.

On the C310 It's pretty much the same issue in the download section, but thankfully there's a 3-dot menu to download the motion event clip directly in the playback interface which looks different than on the C100.

So my two questions are:

1. How can I download locally recorded motion/person-detected recorded events on the C100? The download section on C100 only lists manual recordings (not motion/person-detected recordings).

2. Why are not all recordings (manual, motion-detected, person-detected events) listed in the download section but only manually recorded clips? This question applies to both C100 and C310.

I am of course on the same network as my cameras.

/Kind regards

Hi,
1. If the Tapo C100 and Tapo C310 have the SD card inserted, the camera video recordings are stored on the SD card, and you can watch them on the Tapo app > Camera's Live View > Playback & Download > Playback >SD card page.

2. The Download page will display the video recordings that are recorded manually or downloaded from the SD card/cloud server, they are stored on your Tapo app/phone rather than on the SD card/cloud server.
The video recordings stored on the SD card won't be stored on your Tapo app/phone automatically, so you can't see them on the  Playback & Download > Download page.

3. Currently, the Tapo C100 V2 does not support the feature to download video clips from the SD card. Can you describe why you want to download video clips? We can check if there is another way to do it.

Best Regards
