@Subhrajit_P Тут прошивку без багов доделать не могут, 4акие новые функции если старые не работают)))

Ненужно ничего нового, пусть старое рабочим сделают

EasyMesh Stuck at 100% Joining on AX53 v1 (Firmware 1.4.3 Pre-Release)

Hi,

I have a TP-Link AX53 v1 which I updated to the latest 1.4.3 pre-release firmware to try out the new EasyMesh over Ethernet support. I set the device to AP mode and enabled the EasyMesh feature from the settings.

The AX53 successfully detects my main router (Huawei HG8245X6-10) over Ethernet and prompts to join it. I accept, and the process starts. It reaches 100% with a “Joining…” message, and a popup says “Succeeded”. However, it gets stuck at that point, nothing progresses even after waiting a few minutes.

When I refresh the web interface, I find that the AX53 has factory reset itself. I’ve repeated this process several times and always encounter the same issue.

Has anyone experienced this or found a workaround? Any assistance would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks!

Hi,

It appears to me as if your procedure is not quite correct.

If the HG8245X6-10 is your main EasyMesh router, then it means the AX53 will be added as an EasyMesh Satellite. For this you need to switch the AX53 to "Satellite Router" mode via the "EasyMesh" menu. The AX53 will the then restart. Note that you must not log into the AX53 again, as doing that would break the procedure. Instead, once the AX53 has finished booting you plug the Ethernet cable coming from the HG8245X6-10 into one of the LAN ports of the AX53, which should automatically initiate the adding of the AX53 into the EasyMesh network. Note that after this is completed the AX53 will restart itself once more, so you need to be a bit patient before the AX53 can finally be seen as part of the EasyMesh network.

@woozle Thank you so much, it worked. I think the key part is using LAN port instead of WAN port.

I'm unsure if this is a regression introduced in the newer builds but I'm currently on 1.4.3 and can't get any of the guest isolation features to work in AP mode.

The options show up under Guest network to allow guests to communicate with each other and the local network but they don't seem to be functional.

I can however get these guest isolation to work as intended when the AX53 is in the Router mode.

As for how I'm testing this I've just been pinging various devices connected to the guest and regular networks. In the router mode I cannot ping devices that are on the guest SSID nor can I ping devices that are on the main SSID when I'm contested to the guest SSID. In AP mode however these options seem to do nothing and I'm fully able to ping/transfer files across devices regardless of what SSID they're on.

Hi,

Not sure if this has been reported elsewhere in this thread.  I have the latest .1.4.3. release.

I am running the LEDS in Night mode, they go off at 11:00 pm and back on at 6am.  This seems to work for about 2 weeks then they don't come on in the morning.  Apart from that it all works fine.  A hard reset sorts the issue.

@ModeratelyAnnoy Thank you very much for your feedback.

Does this issue occur regularly every two weeks, or is it random? Please ensure that the system time on the AX53 is always correct.

If this issue happens regularly, could you please email us at support.forum@tp-link.com the configuration file on your AX53 for further investigation?

@Therian78 As far as I can confirm, the isolation only works as follows on Archer AX53 V1:

Working Mode Guest Network < - > Guest Network

Guest Network < - > Main Network (wireless client devices)

Guest Network < - > Main Network (wired client devices)

Router Mode can be isolated can be isolated can be isolated
AP Mode can be isolated can be isolated can't be isolated

Hi,

Thanks for the reply.

At the moment I can't give you an exact time frame.  It feels like two weeks since I saw it first but as I don't pay much attention to the lights I can't be exact.  I restarted the router on Sunday the 11th.  I will keep an eye out if, or when it happens again.
