We are refering to the combined ethernet and wireless backhaul feature to be reinstated as it has been removed from the latest firmware.

Please let us know if the engineers are working on getting this feature to be reinstated or it has been permanently removed from BE85.
Thank you.

The "phenomena" is that TP-Link sold us all on these "premium" devices and you guys continue to fail on delivering feature updates, security updates, performance updates...etc etc.

You extracted the wealth and then just stopped iterating.

Your business model is literally the problem.

I am hoping the BE85 V2 gets DoH and DoT, plus the temperature sensor etc that the BE65 V1/ V2 recently received via beta firmware.

@Solla-topee

the range also very poor

i have deco x50 too , compare at the same spot with BE85 firmware 1.2.1  the 2.5Ghz and 5Ghz range are much weaker than x50

i think BE85 might have a big hardware design flaws which firmware cant do anything

for me
- range very poor
- IOT network > if enable, it makes whole system unstable
- fast roaming > disable
- beam forming > disable
- still unstable

so most of the features which customer expect when pay more are not working as they should
even try to disable most of everything still not stable

firmware update cant rely on deco app anymore, customer need to dig from here to know what is going on

i have been here when David around and still got some update, but now very quiet .

tats

  @ByTP

Hi, thank you very much for your time and patience.
The combined Ethernet and wireless backhaul feature is currently planned to be added to the Deco BE85. However, we do not have information on when this feature will be available.
Best regards.
