Update the Beta firmware and add the latest Beta firmware for ER605 v2/ v2.6, which have added the fix that Omada Router may wrongly report the clients status to the Omada Controller, causing the issue that offline clients were still shown up in the Controller Clients list, and connected to the Omada Router (instead of the SSID or network). - DHCP Server won't provide dynamic IP addresses to end clients in some cases.

(1) simply clicking Save on the Edit Network page will bring the DHCP server to work for a few hours.
(2) reboot doesn't help, the issue doesn't exist with the router firmware 1.1.1.
- Some clients are assigned the same IP address, causing they cannot access the internet.

Dear @trak55,
You need to click the icon "Export to DHCP Address Reservation" to make the address appear in the LAN / Address Reservation page, it's normal. If you add address reservation manually in the LAN / Address Reservation page, you should be able to customize the device description. If I got anything wrong, it's suggested to start a new thread here to discuss further.

There is no correlation to the duplicate addresses. Sometimes it's a fire TV device, sometimes an Alexa device or smartphone or watch.

@Fae Be advised, this beta firmware did NOT fix the issue, today all my devices have no internet, and I look and their getting an internal ip address on the 192.168.10.x subnet, however, I do not have this subnet configured anywhere on my network, not even on the modems ahead of the router does this IP subnet show up. This also is not a device fallback IP, this is a case of this router simply assigning an address on a subnet that doesn't exist. All of my internal vlans are configured as x.x.x.x/24 so their DHCP servers should not be putting out any addresses other than the range their configured in. I also have multiple devices that for whatever reason are not getting an IP Address at all. I will attempt a few reboots and to poke around to see why this may be happening. before I reboot I will download the logs and whatnot too, perhaps maybe there's an excuse in there somewhere that your engineers can figure out. But at this point, the prior firmware I mentioned in my prior posts completely solves this issue, so between 1.2.1 and 1.2.3 is when this issue showed up for me.

@havenstance I reverted firmware to 1.2.0 Build 20220114 which is old but more stable. Too many issues like you described.

@trak55 Thank you, I'm just about to revert myself, every single wireless device is either unable to get an address, or it's getting an address in a subnet that doesn't exist. I have an air conditioner being assigned to the main lan subnet, and that's not at all how I've configured this thing to operate. I'm actually becoming rather frustrated with TP-Link, and if it wasn't for the fact their support did offer to replace this thing with a brand new unit. I would be throwing in the towel and going and buying a router that actually works. Do be warned, I had to be very firm with support, because they wanted to remote into my PC, and my network, and try to make all sorts of changes, and I simply refused to allow any outside entities into my network. They did ultimately agree to replacement, but it took a couple days of working with them to get it to happen. Just be ready to defend yourself should you need to, and you should be good with them, like I said, they offered me a full replacement with a brand new unit, at no cost to me.

Dear @havenstance,
Thank you for your feedback and sorry to hear that you still have DHCP issue with your Omada Router. So far, our support engineers have located the issue with other community members and the new firmware will be provided soon to fix the issue, you may subscribe to this solution thread for the subsequent updates.
However, based on the current information you've provided, it's hard to tell whether the root cause of your case is the same as what we've found for now. If somehow the subsequent firmware updated in this solution thread still failed to fix the DHCP issue you encountered, it's possible that there could be other factors contributing to the problem, in that case, we'd highly suggest you contacting our support team for further troubleshooting, and our engineers would surely try their best to figure out the issue.

@Fae I am using the ER605 v2 and since the update to FW 2.1.1 I also have problems with DHCP and not given IPs. Back to beta 2.0.2 from July all is working fine again.
This seams to be a general problem with the newer gateway FWs.
