How to change Tapo C425's local video storage to the H200 hub?
*Make sure both C425 and H200 hub are connected to the same local network.
- Method One
- Open Tapo App, go to Tapo C425's device page, go to Device Settings.
- Click Storage& Recording -> Local Storage.
- Click Storage Location, choose Hub Storage. Click "Save To", choose a Tapo H200 hub for camera video storage.
- Save.
- Method Two
1. Open Tapo App, go to H200's device page, click Connected Device.
3. Switch to the Accessible tab, click Manage -> select Tapo C425.
4. Choose Network Priority and Storage Location.
5. Done.
Note
1. Local videos can only be saved to one location: you can choose to save them either to the camera's SD card or to the hub's SD card.
2. To save video to the hub, the camera does not require a connection to the hub. It is recommended to save both connection methods so that the camera can automatically switch networks during poor connectivity to ensure proper video storage.

This is what I've just read: Local videos can only be saved to one location: you can choose to save them either to the camera's SD card or to the hub's SD card.
But, my C425 (V. 1.2.0 Firmware 1.2.22) is currently recording on both the internal SD card and the H200 SD card (I've just realized that in the C425 settings I had left "Local saving" to ON).

C425's Local Storage needs to be turned on regardless of the chosen storage location. If the camera also has an SD card inserted, when there is an issue with video storage on the hub, the save path will switch to camera's internal SD card automatically.
Or are you asking this because you saw multiple videos being created twice?

@Wayne-TP I have a brand new C425 V1.2 and it will not update beyond Version: 1.2.21 Build 240809 Rel.52696n (New Zealand). Is there some way to force it to update to Version 1.2.22 so that I can connect it to my H200 Hub?
Thanks.

Hi everyone, upon checking, firmware 1.2.22 for Tapo C425 V1.20 has been temporarily removed from release due to pending updates. A new version is expected to be released within one to two weeks.
We have managed to get a beta firmware that includes the connection support with H200 for Tapo C425 V1.20. If you want to get early access to this beta firmware, send a private message to me @Wayne-TP with the Mac address of your Tapo C425 V1.20.
Before the Upgrade
(1) Please be sure you have read the Beta Test Agreement before upgrading the Pre-release firmware!
(2) How to update the firmware of the Tapo devices on the Tapo App
(3) Firmware downgrade is not supported. When a new official version is released, updating it will overwrite the beta version.
