my Tapo TC72 always offline
Good day,
I just bought and installed the TC72. Everything is fine, but after one or two days, my camera shows as offline in tapo app, and the LED status is blinking red. After a power cycle, the camera returns to normal. I checked the playback, and it was actually recording while app show as offline. Actually I have installed a couple of other cameras (C210 and C211), and they are all functioning well. Please advise me on what I can do. Is this a firmware or hardware issue?
Thank you!

Hi,
You can refer to the instructions below to troubleshoot the disconnect issue.
What should I do if my Tapo smart device keeps losing connection or going offline?
If the problem remains, please confirm:
1. The model number of your router.
2. The network diagram. (Is the TC72 connected to the router's Wi-Fi directly? How far between the router and the TC72?)
3. When the TC72 is working, go to its Device Settings > Device Info page, tap the Wi-Fi icon and send me the RSSI value.
4. Have you tried to connect the TC72 to other Wi-Fi networks and test if it will work stable?
Best Regards

Hi,
If your router has a guest network, please try to enable the 2.4G guest Wi-Fi network, factory reset the camera, reconfigure it, and connect it to the guest network, then check if it will work fine.
