Upgraded To New Android Phone. Can't Logon To View Cameras.
FURTHER UPDATE: Successfully logged onto my account BUT all kinds of weird camera behaviour happening with commands from the new phone when using Arrive Home/Leave Home shortcuts or manually entering/exiting privacy mode. In some cases cameras C200's rebooting. Everything works perfectly with the old phone though. Pretty frustrating. Guess I'll start a new thread about these issues.
UPDATE: Tried logging on this afternoon. about 18hrs later and it all worked flawlessly on the new phone. I think TAPO servers decided my initial attempts to login were a security risk.
I've just upgraded to a new Moto G 5G Android phone. The Tapo app was working fine on my old Moto g Fast Android phone. Most apps transferred over automatically to my new phone but I noticed my Tapo cameras seemed to be acting strangely, Online then the next minute showing offline etc. Checked with my old phone and all seemed to be behaving normally. I decided to uninstall/reinstall the Tapo app on my new phone. Now when the login screen appears I am continually getting a message "Error Please try again later". At one point it did go further saying it had sent me a verification code but I didn't receive anything. I also tried uninstalling/reinstalling the Tapo app on my old phone, logging in and all worked flawlessly. It's like the Tapo servers have blacklisted my new phone. Has anybody experienced an issue like this? If so, how did you work around it?
Thanks,
Mike
