Troubleshooting [Tapo C225 V2, 1.1.0] Fewer Baby Crying Notifications Received
This Article Applies To:
Tapo C225 V2, 1.1.0 Build 250228 Rel.63257n
Phenomenon Description:
After upgrading to firmware version 1.1.0 Build 250228 Rel.63257n, you may notice a reduction in the number of Baby Crying notifications received compared to the previous version.
Workaround:
We have released the official firmware (1.1.1 Build 250623 Rel.51642n), which optimized the Baby Crying Detection performance. Please update the camera's firmware to the latest version and check if the Baby Crying Detection feature works properly.
If you find that the camera is not detecting baby crying adequately, we recommend going to the Tapo app > Camera's Device Settings > Detection > Baby Crying Detection page and setting a higher Baby Crying detection sensitivity value to see if that improves the detection feature.
If the issue persists, please email us with the subject line "[Forum ID 827642] + Fewer Baby Crying Notifications Received." Additionally, kindly provide the following information in your email:
1. The MAC address of the camera
2. A video showing the baby crying but not detected by the camera.
1) You can record the video manually by tapping the Record icon on the camera's Live View page.
2) If the camera has an SD card inserted, turn on the continuous recording function. In this way, when the baby is crying but not detected by the camera, you can manually download the video and send it to us.
