I recently purchased and setup the DECO BE63 and attempted to add my PIA VPN server to the router.  I went to More > VPN > VPN CLIENT > Created a OpenVPN from the PIA generator and dropped the config file in.  Added my username and password and a few devices to route through the VPN.

 

When I press connect, it just stays stuck at connecting.  Any advice?

If the same phenomenon persists, please provide the following information for analysis.
  1. Please go to the Deco app > More > QoS page to see if it's enabled. If so, turn it off and check if this helps.
  2. Can you make a VPN dial-up connection on the client device connected to the Deco network via the same OpenVPN config file?

QoS is not enabled.

 

I'm not sure what you mean by creating a dial up connection via PIA.  That isn't an option.  I do have a variety of encryption options to choose from.

Hi,
There might be an issue with the VPN server itself, so the Deco fails to connect to it. Can you successfully connect to the VPN server using the same configuration file on another device?
