 Hi@Danny--,

Did you downgrade firmware back to 1.4.2? Does the issue persist?

May I know is the internet speed normal on your network?

Your problem description is different from others. If it is a lag, I suggest you compare logging into the router's web management page using different browsers.
If the router randomly disconnects at night, please also check whether the network of the ISP device in front of the main router is still working stably at this time?

Hi @Joseph-TP

Thanks for getting back.

Yes, I am currently on the latest firmware — 1.4.2 Build 20250305 rel.56105 — and I have not downgraded.

To clarify again, this is not a lag or login issue — the router UI works fine across browsers. The real issue is with EasyMesh switching the Archer C5 from Ethernet backhaul to Wireless, even though it's physically connected via LAN to the AX10, which itself is wired to the main router (AX53).

I'm using a stable PPPoE connection at 400 Mbps, and there's no disconnection or bandwidth issue. The problem is EasyMesh auto-switching connection types, even when Ethernet is properly plugged in and active.

As shown in my earlier screenshots, the topology keeps randomly shifting, and this messes up the consistency of my mesh network. What I really need is a setting or rule in EasyMesh to force satellite devices to use Wired backhaul only, so they don't fall back to Wireless without user control.

This is frustrating, especially when stability is needed. Please consider passing this to the firmware team for a fix or future feature.

Thanks again!

— Danny

@Kevin_Z DNS over HTTPS / DNS over TLS, a much needed feature that was requested long time ago, is still not here. Please implement this feature as soon as possible.
