  @Duppie007

Dear Leon,

Thanks for your assistance.

Really appreciate your inputs.

However I seem to have resolved the issue.

Needed to connect the router to internet first for the upgrade to work.

I was trying to update the firmware fresh out of the box.

Thanks for your help.

This issue is resolved.

  @woozle

Awesome, thanks.
Definitely the best firmware for AX53 but hopefully not the last one (how about that DoT and DoH wink wink)
Still, good job TP-Link. So nice to see a company listening to user feedback.

Hi guys, I received the 1.4.3 update on my AX53, but I have a problem and I would like to know if anyone else is having the same problem.
I have an AX53 with two Mercusys ME60X configured in Mesh.
With the previous firmware, when I restarted the AX53, the two ME60X automatically reconnected.
Unfortunately, with the 1.4.3 firmware this no longer happens. If the two ME60X reboot, they will reconnect, but if the AX53 reboots, they no longer reconnect.
I noticed a strange thing: if, after the AX53 has restarted, I restart one of the two ME60X, the other ME60X will also reconnect, as if it triggered the Mesh service to start in the AX53 (or something like that).

Is this a problem that only I have? Is it a problem of the two ME60X (but with the previous firmware it never happened)?

Obviously I have already tried to reset both the AX53 and the two ME60X, but nothing has changed.

Finally: is it possible to downgrade the firmware? Is this an operation allowed by TP-Link?

Thank you very much

Hi everyone!

Hi@DanySupernova,

Thank you for contacting our community.

May I know if your network topology diagram is as follows:

ISP modem—router)))((( 2* Mercusys ME60X

(Note: — stands for wired connection,)))((( stands for wireless connection )

I have created a ticket case to follow up your issue. Please help collect the system logs and backups files of the router, then send information via ticket :

  @Joseph-TP

Hi Joseph, thank you so much!

So my diagram is the following:

FTTH -ONT -AX53((( 2* Mercusys ME60X

Tonight when I get home from work, I will reconnect the two ME60X in mesh (now I have set them as simple repeaters) and send you the logs.

Thank you very much!

DOT/DOH should be a standard for WiFi 6 series.

many thanks
