Official Release Deco BE85 1.2.0 Enhanced Mesh Backhaul Stability and Device Roaming Experience
Update on May 8, 2026:
The official version for Deco BE85 V1/V2 has been released publicly. Users can check for updates via the Deco's web interface or through the Deco App to install the latest version manually.
How to Update TP-Link Deco Firmware
If you cannot find the latest version, please download the firmware from the official website and upgrade it manually:
Deco BE85_V1_1.2.1 Build 20250731

- The 1.2.0 can't downgrade to the official 1.1.1 after the upgrade.

They just push volume. Release a ton of products, barely support them except for the best sellers, and then move on.

Guess we have to continue to wait for this feature to be reinstated in 2026... Looking forward to this... hopefully...
It was giving me such a high wifi speed compared to current firmware.
Just weird why they market this feature, then remove it...

It's already May 2026, and the BE85 and BE95 still haven't received a firmware update?!
The user experience is terrible, even worse than my old ASUS router! Why?!
