Yes I have.

I unplugged the ethernet cable, power off the router/satellite, plug the ethernet cable back in and power on the satellite to get it back to 1000mbps.

I’m not sure what causes this but sometimes when I power on/off the satellite router, my backhaul speed drops from 1000mbps to 100mbps, but this rarely happens.

  @Lemarc

Just tried the beta firmware and no changes for your points #1 and #2.

On #2 (UNII-3  Channel availability) I doubt we will get this under the EU firmware due to EU power level restrictions TP-Link have to follow. Example here in Australia UNII-3 allows 4000mW versus a range of 100mW to 1000mW on the lower channels. I've tested with a few borrowed routers that use AU or US firmware and having UNII-3 channels makes a difference to a number of connections here which are at their limits. Plus tends to be interference free a lot

more.

I suspect our solution is TP-Link authorise us to use US firmware for Indonesia and Australia customers. But I have no idea if that's feasible - there may be hardware limitations in allowing EU models to flash US firmware just to support UNII-3 channels. The support here (Kevin/Joseph etc) is excellent so see what they come up with.

I can confirm your workaround. Been doing this for a while with a 2.5GBe backhaul. Drove me crazy until I realised just let it sync up wirelessly then attach the ethernet cable.

I've updated my original post to offer a new beta firmware to fix the reported issue where the AX80's web interface menus become invisible after upgrading to the pre-release firmware.

Please download and install it on your AX80 and let me know if it fixes the issue.

Thank you very much.

  @Kevin_Z

Yes, just to confirm that the new Beta firmware Archer AX80(EU/JP)_V1_1.3.1 Build 20250813 has solved the problem with the Dark theme in the browser and the unreadable letters in the MENU.

Now all the letters are clearly visible with the Dark theme in the browser.

Now we just have to wait for the new official firmware to come outsmiley

Thank you very much.

Hi@zexoni70 ,

Welcome back.

Have you tried the suggestions that I have send to you:

For 5GHz, please use channel in Band 4, which is channel 149-165.

If the issue persists, please refer to the FAQ below to collect backup file of the router: How to create and restore from a backup file on your TP-Link Router

The tech team has been made aware of your case; they will likely reach out to you via email to continue troubleshooting. The case ID is TKID250830411, please check your email inbox and confirm.

Dear  @Joseph-TP

Of course I tried everything  you suggested, but the problem is that it seems that all Archer AX80(EU) devices are for the European market (Serbia Region) and do not support Band 4 and channels 149-165.

The last channel in the drop-down menu that I can select on my AX80(EU) is channel 128 (DFS). wink

Attached is a screenshot.

Regards!

Hi  @zexoni70

I’m not sure if you had a look at the workaround I posted which is on the bottom of page 4 on this thread, but the channel and channel width not propagating seems to be only on wired backhaul while wireless backhaul seems to be propagating just fine.

The workaround fixes this issue but should still be looked at by the support team to get this issue totally fixed.
