Shared accounts dont have access to cloud saving video on camera.

Hello i activate Tapo Care 30 days trail on my camera. But shared accounts to device don't have access to video cloud savings, nothing show for them. Everyone has the lasted version of app from play store.
Very please for help with that issue.

Currently, the shared account is unable to access the camera's cloud video clips. You can vote on this thread "When sharing webcams with my family members they cannot see the cloud videos.", and leave your detailed usage scenario for evaluation to add this feature to the Tapo camera.

Is this still the case?
I'm planning to install cameras at my elderly parents home so that they can monitor outside their property and I can see footage of any strange visitors or goings on. The cameras are theirs, the footage is theirs, but I need the ability to look back and see what happened previously.
Not allowing this to be done is just senseless.
I suppose the only way around it would be to setup one my older unused phones using their account details, so I would make the system think I am them, but it's not a very clean setup.

@gordon861 Yes, this is the case. You cannot view the cloud videos when a camera is shared, but the videos on the SD card is viewable.
So they really dont want people to buy for the cloud, lol.
