I am running the light strip on a local WiFi network while blocking its internet access for security reasons. From Home Assistant and my router I can see that exactly every 10 minutes the device disconnects, and it takes about a minute for me to be able to control it again. When I unblock the internet access, the device works as expected.

From my DNS logs I can see that it is trying to connect to iot.i.tplinknbu.com and time servers.

Other TP-Link devices have also had a similar problem, so please could we have fixed firmware for light strips too.
