Firmware Version:

This Article Applies to:

Tapo C500/TC40 V1.0,  FW:  1.3.4 Build 250228 Rel.66111n

Phenomenon Description:

On the camera's Live View and Playback page, the timestamp is displayed incorrectly, showing a date that is 24 days earlier than the correct date.
For example, the correct date is April 25, but the date displayed on the camera's Live View and Playback page is April 1.

Workaround:

1. You can try to reboot the camera via the Tapo app and then check if the timestamp is displayed correctly.

2. We have firmware that may solve the issue for the Tapo C500 & TC40 V1.0. Please send me(@Solla-topee) "Forum ID 813762 + camera's MAC address" via a private message if you want to try the firmware.
Before the Upgrade:
(1) Please be sure you have read the
Beta Test Agreement before upgrading the Pre-release firmware!
