I am reaching out here because the local support in my country has not been able to address this issue.

I have a Tapo C520WS V2.0 on a wired LAN connection. I am currently on firmware 1.2.1 Build 250911, but I am still experiencing constant lag and freezing on live remote viewing. My c211 works fine but not with c520ws.

 

Please push the stable performance firmware for V2 hardware to my device to fix this.

Hi,
We do not have the firmware that is designed to solve the reported phenomenon. For the reported case, please refer to Case 3 in the instructions below to troubleshoot.
Note: We do not suggest posting your camera's MAC address in the thread. Please remove it.
What should I do if I can't view the Tapo camera?
 

Please provide the following information if the reported phenomenon persists.
  1. When you view the Tapo C520WS's live feed locally, does the live stream smooth?
  2. Have you tried to use different mobile devices and different networks on your phone when streaming the C520WS remotely? If not, please give it a try.
  3. Please send us a video showing the reported phenomenon. You can upload the video to your cloud server (such as Google Drive), generate a download link, and send it to me (@Solla-topee) via a private message.
  4. If the C520WS is connected to your router by Wi-Fi, does the same phenomenon persist?

1.When viewing the Tapo C520WS's live feed locally, the live stream is smooth.

 

2.I have tried streaming the C520WS remotely on different devices and using both Wi-Fi and LTE networks. The issue still persists.

 

3.I will send a video showing the reported phenomenon shortly via a cloud link.

 

4.The C520WS was previously connected via Wi-Fi, and the same issue occurred.
