Dear @havenstance,

  @Fae I've got an ER-7206 and I can confirm this bug with Firmware 1.2.3, I had it as well. Rolling back to 1.2.1 has seemed to fix my issues. The DHCP Server would quit working after a few hours, causing my APs to not connect. A reboot of the switches would not fix the issue, neither would rebooting the APs, changing the wifi password did seem to help for a while, as did completely resetting and reconfiguring the network, but it would only last a while and quit working. After the roll back, all issues disappeared, and the router is working as expected again, as are the wireless access points.

Thank you for your kind feedback. The support engineers are trying their best to figure out the issue now. Hope the issue be addressed soon.

I Have er605 version 1.6 with the loaded test firmware version

Having issues with the sntp server everytime the hardware is restarted it completely resets the time and date.

which throws off all the other devices i have on the network that rely on this to sync to

half the time i can not get it to sync to the time servers if it is in auto get time

set it to manual mode and it completely resets the time everytime the system reboots and does not remember what it was set too

My Er605 is running with

arp spoofing: enabled

DHCP server: off

DNS Server: on

DHCP is managed via a firewalla blue plus

ip is static defined for the firewalla device

from the log which is pictured below in the screenshot attached i get a arp collision as well due to server time issues it looks like

Dear  @Fae

yes, I have the issue with ER7206 and firmware 1.2.3. It looks like I have the issue whenever I have any scheduled jobs ran. For the first time it happened exactly after the Scheduled AI Optimizer. After I found that's the issue, I disabled it, I went into the management interface and enter the DHCP settings page (Controller Settings (cog on the lower left) | Wired Networks | LAN | Edit (under Actions)) and then simply clicked Save on the Edit Network and it was operational again. And again tonight I had exactly the same issue, but this time it happened after my monthly scheduled restart on APs happened. I forgot about that and I woke up to a network with only half of the devices are connected.

  @Fae

After working fine since the update to v1.2.3 my router is experiencing the same DHCP issues again. Today I randomly had two clients that didn't get an IP address. Rebooting seems to help but it's obviously not solved properly with the v1.2.3 update

  @tansuk

I can confirm your theory, it has something to do with the scheduling itself, I updated my ER7206 again to version 1.2.3, disabling scheduled wifi optimization fixed the DHCP problem, I had no more IP losses.

 i have confirmed it seem to be something with the time server and leasing

the device is not keeping the time properly

anytime the device does a sntp time sync it seems to drop the current time and reset the time

when the device does the time drop it resets the time to 1970 jan 1 0500:13 then updates it from the sntp

meaning it is releasing the current time in the database via removing it and reinserting the time in the table which causes the scheduling of DHCP leasing and cron jobs and everything else in the system to reset based on the last reset of time sync

if you put the device in manual mode time sync it to your desktop time....

then reboot the device the time is not remembered it resets the time to 1970 jan 1 0500:13

from that point on everytime you reboot the device you have to log into the device and set the time manually however this does not solve the issue either

@tansuk this has been my experience as well, in that the DHCP issues appear to be related to the router time/scheduled jobs.

@Fae I copied these recent replies into the support ticket you opened for me (TKID221130671).

  @GRL

Any chance that you could point me to a copy of the 605 V1 1.1.1 beta? The release version has the stealth bug,
