  @Kevin_Z

Sorry, but I have to say no to cooperation as I would have to redo everything network related from scratch and that would be a major headache and long hours or days spent. I've spent days figuring out how to achieve a stable and somewhat acceptable configuration and I'm not willing to undo it. So once again, sorry.

One thing I don't understand, why is this behavior by design? Why not extend guest networks? Other brands extend guest networks by design.

You have major software related issues which itself are a big problem for your customers, why are you trying to give them hard times, and possibly chase them away to other brands?

Today I also discovered that the reboot schedule I've set on my main AX53 (running 1.3.1) doesn't reboot the satellite AX53 and thus introduced a pretty big glitch resulting in only wifi backhaul between them. And of course despite the updated firmware (1.4.3) of the satellite there isn't an option to set a reboot schedule on the satellite too, which is another big problem as they can get out of sync this way.  If I hadn't checked if everything was fine after the reboot schedule I wouldn't notice this flaw. After rebooting manually the satellite AX53 ethernet backhaul is back to normal. So I have to pay attention to manually reboot the satellite after the main router's reboot schedule, or I have to spend money to buy a smart plug and make a schedule with that.

So pretty please, get your stuff together software wise or you will lose customers who are struggling with advertised features not present or not working, or if they are working they are full with bugs.

@Pufi24

Thank you very much for your valuable feedback.

No worries. The EasyMesh will be optimized in the future.

  @Kevin_Z Hello, I'm having a problem that didn't happen in previous versions, I don't know exactly which firmware version I was using but what happens is that I have a local DNS server (adguard home) and I also have an active guest network. This guest network cannot access my local network but for the IP of my local DNS set in DHCP it worked perfectly... now the AX53 is blocking DNS requests from the guest network... However in IPv6 it continues to work normally. Please solve this.

Hi@Walkervr,

Thank you for contacting our community.

Please refer to FAQs to learn about the model number and firmware version of your router:

How to find the model number of your TP-Link device

How to find the hardware and firmware version of my TP-Link device

Please note that Guest Network provides Internet access for users such as guests, while at the same time is isolated with the main network to ensure your network security and privacy.

You can check 'Allow guests to access your local network' option on the Guest Permissions of the guest network for a try.

  @Joseph-TP Thanks for your reply. I'm on version 1.4.3

I understand that now the isolation of the guest network is more rigorous... In older firmware if the user configured a local IP as DNS it became an exception in this block.

Request for Official Download Link for AX53 (EU) Version 1.4.3 Build 20250314

I would like to inform you that the AX53 (EU) firmware version 1.4.3 Build 20250314 is no longer available for download. As this version is required for our current work, I kindly ask if you could provide me with the official direct download link for this specific build.

Your assistance in this matter would be greatly appreciated.

Thank you very much in advance for your support.

By the way, there is no difference between the "Pre-release" version 1.4.3 that can be downloaded via the link in the first post of this thread and the "official" version 1.4.3. Both *.bin files are identical.

Hi@Walkervr,

Thanks for your reply.

I may be a little confused. To avoid misalignment between us, would you mind taking some screenshots of the settings that meet your previous usage needs?

woozle is right. The modifications for the pre-release firmware is the same as the official 1.4.3 version. You can download it from the above link provided by woozle.

BTW, there will be a new 1.4.4 version available very soon. You may check for the updates later on your router's web GUI.

  @Joseph-TP I have Adguard Home (10.0.0.2) reserved on DHCP.

Before some automatic firmware update and with this DHCP settings (screenshot), even the guest network without permission to access my local network, devices connected to guest can have communication with 10.0.0.2

After firmware updates it's not possible anymore.

DHCP . I don't wanna to allow guest network to access my local network.
