Phenomenon Description:
The cameras listed above aim to return to their original position when no events are detected within 30 seconds after tracking. However,
1) The camera does not return to the correct position after tracking, and its viewpoint is offset.
2) When tilting or panning the camera, the Tapo app prompts that it has reached the limit position even though it has not.
Troubleshooting Tips:
1. You can reboot the camera, or tap the Pan & Tilt Correction in the Tapo app > camera's Device Settings > Pan & Tilt page to see if this helps.
2. The R&D team has developed new firmware to address this issue. Before the official release, beta firmware is available for testing.
Click here to contact the TP‑Link technical support team and request access to the beta firmware. Please include the following information in your email when submitting your request.
- A description of the phenomenon you are experiencing.
- A description of the troubleshooting you did.
- The camera's MAC address. You can find it in the Tapo app > camera's Device Settings > Device Info page.
- A video or screenshots showing the camera's viewpoints before and after tracking.
Before the Upgrade:
(1) Please be sure you have read the Beta Test Agreement before upgrading the Pre-release firmware!
(2) How to update the firmware of the Tapo devices on the Tapo App
(3) Firmware downgrade is not supported. When a new official version is released, updating it will overwrite the beta version.

I'm having the same problem.
After a few hours the camera does not return to the saved viewpoint position. I have to perform a pan & tilt correction and even that quite often doesn't work so i have to delete the saved viewpoint move the camera to the posiion i want and save a new one.
I have two of these C560WS cameras and it only happens on one of them (the newest one).

@Solla-topee Hi,
I also have a Tapo C660 camera that does not return to the center position and gets stuck facing a wall. It somewhat makes the camera less functional. I have "reset the power" and performed a "Pan and Tilt Correction", often on a daily basis. Recently i have performed factory reset and not set the camera to "pan and tilt" so it cannot get confused. This rather defeats the purpose of the camera. There is a glaring fault with the C660 in that it does not have a "Home Position" in my opinion.
I have watched @Solla-topee suggest a Reboot, the Pan and Tilt Correction and also the Factory Reset. Please do not suggest this as i have performed these actions. I have also seen the "contact technical support" option. What we do not see is anyone saying that technical support actually resolved their fault.
It would appear that from the release of the C660 camera that this fault is persistent. Please advise if your Engineering Team are working on a firmware fix?
regards
RJ
