Knowledge Base Detection and Recording features for TP-Link cameras
. Introduction
Detection Feature
Our Kasa and Tapo Cameras come equipped with a Detection Feature. This feature allows the camera to detect events and send you alerts immediately. You can also view video clips of these events to verify and check everything. Furthermore, you can personalize your own experience by setting activity zones to only capture what happens in the area that you choose.
Recording Feature
Our cameras are equipped with a Recording Feature, which is especially useful if you need to provide evidence of an incident. There are two types of recordings supported by TP-Link cameras: Secure Local Storage and Cloud Storage.
Secure Local Storage
Save recorded videos to a microSD card.
Cloud Storage
The cameras can enjoy up to a 30-day video clip history with Tapo Care/Kasa Care cloud storage services.
