@David-TP - can you help clarify something? You said in your comment above:

The Deco X10 comes equipped with the 1.6.0 firmware platform features.

It is a bit like the Deco WiFi 7 series, like the Deco BE95/85. They came equipped with the 1.7.0 &1.8.0 firmware platform features. So far, there hasn't been a pattern for the newly released models

However, when I contacted support about Client Connection Preference not working on my network since adding an X10 (with the latest firmware, 1.1.6), I was told:

Thank you for your update. After confirming the situation, it appears that WPA3 encryption, Reboot Schedule, and Connection Preferences for client devices are only available when all units in the same network support these features. In your case, since the Deco X10 does not support Connection Preferences for clients, it causes the Deco X55 in the same network to lose access to this feature as well.

It's obviously very frustrating when the information isn't clear and consistent, because we rely upon it to make purchasing decisions. What are we supposed to do to get support in cases like this?

Hi, Thank you very much for your time and patience.

Both Deco X50_V1_1.6.0/1.6.1 and Deco X10_V1-1.1.1.6 have added Connection Preference. So you are supposed to set the preferred signal source for satellite Deco units and the preferred Deco/WiFi band for the mobile device.

If you still can't find these options, please feel free to update the support ticket and the engineer would love to provide further assistance.

Thanks again and best regards.
