Hi!
I don't need wifi at night, then I prefer to turn off the wifi radiation.

The routers I've had before always have a function where you can turn off the wifi (wifi schedule).

This is not yet possible with the Deco M5. Can this be added as a firmware upgrade? Like to hear from you!

ECO Mode on Deco

So far, Deco M4 V1&V2 with firmware 1.5.6 and above already supports Wi-Fi Schedule.

Now, the engineers are collecting feedback to know more about why you think the Wi-Fi Schedule is essential, and your expectations for how this feature is to be implemented. Please share your ideas with us!

It is good, not only for healthy environment, to be able to schedule wifi shutdown during the night.

I have 11 Deco M5 or M9 and it would help save the planet if they could be scheduled to sleep at night

Just installed an X75E mesh and didn't even consider this wouldn't be an available feature. Very disappointing! The 5 year old Linksys router it replaced has this feature, as does every other one on the market. I wouldn't have bought the TPLink had I realized this before the purchase. I see this has been requested by the user base for at least 3 years, so please add this basic and important feature ASAP.

It's quite a shame that this doesn't exist yet. It's almost a deal-breaker.

Regarding remarks on the forum on why it's not available, some thoughts: you could simply treat the backhaul availability as a regular power disruption. On power outage, if the main unit is off, the satellite should keep polling for availability of the backhaul channel, until available. One could add that during wifi-schedule, you don't poll the main unit. Push wifi schedules to satellites first, and after conformation write to the main unit. Also when connected as AP (ethernet backhaul), it should be a non-issue.
